Team Cork is honored and pleased to announce that we are the proud recipients of two awards for 2018-2019:

The Massachusetts Society of Clinical Oncologists 2019 Audesse Award

We are pleased to announce that Team Cork has been selected by the Board of the Massachusetts Society of Clinical Oncologists (MSCO) to receive MSCO’s 2019 Audesse Award.

Each year, MSCO honors an organization that has made a significant contribution in the area of cancer care and treatment, patients’ rights, or cancer education. Past Audesse Award winners include such organizations as The Ellie Fund, The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, the Melanoma Foundation of New England, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Nancy Achin (Sullivan) Audesse, in whose honor the award was originally established.

When we started Team Cork, the goal was never to receive an award or formal recognition. The smiles on patients faces at the end of a Wellness Day and knowing that we could ease the financial burden of cancer patients during their care through our fundraising efforts and donations to Dana Farber was all the thanks we needed.

Having said this Team Cork is truly humbled and honored by MSCO’s 2019 Audesse Award. We consider Team Cork as "the little charity that could" and to be recognized in the company of the esteemed past winners, after only two and a half years in operation, is quite an honor. All of Team Cork should be very proud. The Team Cork Wellness Days and its team of practitioners and volunteers are the primary reason we received the 2019 Audesse Award. The award has very little to do with our leadership group and everything to do with the Metrowest Medical Center, our amazing Wellness Day practitioners, and the volunteers that dedicate their resources, time and talentss to make the Wellness Program a reality. The most important aspect of the 2019 Audesse Award is that it provides confirmation to all that the Team Cork Wellness Program, its practitioners and volunteers are having a positive impact and making a difference in cancer patients lives. Thanks again to all practitioners, volunteers, and contributors for you dedication, generosity and support of Team Cork.
